Do you have more than one intake annually?Intakes vary from faculty to faculty, please see the relevant faculty web page for details.What are the dates for enrolling in a course?This varies from faculty to faculty. For further information about enrolments please contact IF on 9407 4310.Is there a fee to apply for enrolling?There is a non-refundable $285 enrolment fee.Do people need to speak English?Yes, we are not yet equipped to handle non-English speaking students and create translated lessons, but we can do this in a future stage.Can I study with IF from anywhere in the world?You can study from anywhere since we provide flexible methods of e-learning, such as online course material that can be printed or simply accessed from our website. Assessment tasks can be submitted via electronic mail or through the website. Some courses also include periodical teleconference calls, which can be connected into from anywhere in the world. Some course may include intensive seminars or retreat, please visit the faculty’s website for more details.What is the duration of a course?This depends of which certification you choose. On average, all Certificate IV courses take one year to complete; Diploma takes two years; Advanced Diploma three years.Are there any other course costs other than those listed on the application form?There is a recommended book reading list and CDs for various courses.Will a tax receipt be issued after payment is received by the IF?The Insight Foundation will issue a tax receipt at the time of receiving any monies or payments.At the completion of a course or units of competency, to be eligible to receive final assessment results, certification or statements of attainment all associated tuition fees are to have been paid and received in full. Are tuition fees transferable?If you decide not to do a course you initially enrolled in and have not yet commenced it you can use the payment as credit to pay for an alternative course.Is the Insight Foundation registered?Yes, the Insight Foundation is a nationally registered training organisation.What are the Insight Foundation fees?For the latest information about IF fees, please visit the COURSES link at the top of this page.Can I get Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) with the Insight Foundation if I feel that prior study may entitle me to do so?Yes, although you may not have studied with the IF before, you may have already gained a sufficient level of knowledge, understanding and skills through prior study. If you possess documented evidence, you are welcome to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning for specific units of competence. Please contact us for more details on procedures and fees.You may consider taking all our units to gain a full understanding of how they are integrated within the Insight Foundation’s unique perspective and delivery of courses. Can I get Skills Recognition with the Insight Foundation if I have previously gained relevant work experience?Yes, although you may not have studied with the IF before, you may have already gained a sufficient level of knowledge, understanding and skills through prior work experience. If you possess documented evidence, you are welcome to apply for Skills Recognition for specific units of competence. Please contact us for more details on procedure and fees.You may consider taking all our units to gain a full understanding of how they are integrated within the Insight Foundation’s unique perspective and delivery of courses. How many hours will I have to study?The hours you will be required to study vary between each faculty and course. In general, you will be required to study between six and 12 hours per week.Once I have enrolled, can I withdraw my application? What are the conditions?The IF allows students a 3-month trial period during which they can withdraw from our courses if they choose. Student withdrawal within the first three months does not incur a cancellation fee and tuition fees are fully refunded.If a student withdraws from study after the three-month trial period, there is a cancellation fee of $357.50. For student withdrawal, the student will need to provide one month’s written notice and return all training materials in pristine condition within 5 days of the termination notice. The $285 enrolment fee is non-refundable. Credit card (nominally 2%) or debit charges will not be refunded.
